Meghan Lynch, Chair

Meghan Lynch grew up in a politically active family. Her first campaign experience was phone banking for her aunt’s Maplewood council race while in high school. Then while attending Seton Hall University, she volunteered for the Bill Clinton campaign. After a long career in healthcare administration, she left to be home with her children. She became a board of trustees member and the chair of the Financial Development committee The Westmont Montessori School. In January of 2017, she traveled to Washington DC to attend the Women’s March which was a life changing experience. She came home and dedicated herself to electing women to office. Meghan is currently the Chair of the Randolph Democrats and the Chair of the Morris County Democratic Women’s Caucus.

Mary Ellen DeNoon, Vice Chair

As a life-long feminist, Mary Ellen DeNoon started her political career while in college as a volunteer for the first female candidate for Vice President, Geraldine Ferraro. She worked as an editor in publishing and financial services before starting a family and moving to Morris Township in 1994.  She volunteered on school boards, as a coach, and for the Community Soup Kitchen.  On the political front, Mary Ellen is a District Representative on the MT Democratic Committee, is a member of Morris Township’s Open Space Committee, and is Vice Chair for the MCD Women’s Caucus.  When not doing political work, she enjoys reading books, hanging with her dogs and getting yelled at by her children to stay off Twitter at night.

Jill Rhodes, Secretary

Jill Rhodes has always had an interest in politics, starting early with persuasion canvassing in her own home trying to convince her mother to support Jimmy Carter for re-election. She spent 14 years in academia before leaving to pursue other interests. She has worked supporting grassroots organizations and served as an ATNJ Morris County Co-chair. Jill has supported a number of Morris County campaigns, either as a Finance Director or Asst. Campaign Manager, and supported both Senate and Assembly candidates in the LD-25 special election in 2020. She is a District Representative on the Madison Democratic Committee, serves on the Historic Preservation Commission, the Open Spaces, Recreation and Historic Preservation Advisory Committee, and is the Secretary for the Morris County Democratic Women’s Caucus.

Estela Roibal, Treasurer

Estela Roibal is a proud mother of two successful adult children, a wife, a former banker and a small family business owner. She is from Uruguay and her educational background is in Education and Chemistry. Upon moving to the US she worked in retail and then banking, before becoming a family business owner in Dover. She firmly believes in social justice, equality and equity, and believes in uplifting the most vulnerable in society. She has a lifelong interest in political and social activism, and locally has been an elected member of different organizations such as the Dover Democratic Committee. Her hobbies include jazz, nature, food, and playing guitar. She is excited to take on this new role.


Carrie O’Brien, Sergeant at Arms

Carrie O’Brien started lobbying in Trenton at the age of 5, before turning 10 she was canvassing for local democrats. By 15 Carrie began volunteering on the Montville Township First Aid Squad and became a licensed EMT at 16 years old.  By 18, she started a full-time career in massage therapy, while serving on the executive board of the Morris County Young Democrats. She achieved an AA in Communications from County College of Morris, where she played soccer and volunteered for the school paper.  She received a BS in Environmental Science, Policy, Business and Communications from Southern Oregon University. While attending SOU she volunteered with nonprofits and worked with state legislators to introduce policy protecting fragile ecosystems of the Pacific Northwest. Currently, she runs several small businesses and volunteers with local environmental and political organizations.
